The Birth of Alamankon Farmers’ Cooperative Society (AFCO)

The Alamankon Farmers’ Cooperative Society (AFCO) started as an idea introduced by Mr. Ngang Vadex Ngang during a meeting in the compound of late Pa Chi Ngang John on 29/11/2016. The meeting was attended by more than 150 persons who were enthusiastic about fighting poverty through cooperative efforts.

Official Registration and Expansion

In 2017, AFCO officially registered with the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, with the registration number NW/GP/01/17/99. The cooperative expanded its membership and activities, focusing on agricultural development, savings, and community empowerment.
